Support Files for The Lean Machine

The following installation files can be used to install new computers or to resolve errors with existing installations.

Complete Support File Package - Everything needed to run the software, except The Lean Machine and your Database file.  This package includes:  Access Runtime with SP3, MS Jet 4.0 SP8, Total Access Memo, and shortcuts.

Conflict Viewer - These files are needed to resolve conflicts and to use the Linked Table feature.  Load them on the computer that needs these features.

Hub Shortcuts  - Shortcuts to open the hub database directly to compact and repair it when it closes.

Start Up Shortcut - Starts The Lean Machine when computer starts (after SP3 for Access runtime)

Instructions for Installing new computers

1. Run the latest update file TLMUpdateX.XX.X.exe

2. Complete Support File Package  (TLMSupportFiles.exe)

3. Move a copy of LeanMachineDataLocal.mdb from one of your installed computers to the Data folder created during the complete support file installation. (If you transfer the file by CD, make sure it is not read only after you are done)

4. Make sure the new user has the appropriate Read, Write, and Modify permissions for the network share containing your Hub database.

5. Add the new user to The Lean Machine from the Employee button on the Main Menu.  Establish their permissions, and enable their license.
